If you’re reading this, you know Balancing Life’s Issues. And if you’ve worked with us you know what sets us apart.
It’s our dedication to the people and communities we serve, it’s our fearlessness to ask the big questions (and our passion for big answers). Life is complex, and we are in the business of understanding and improving upon every facet of your life.
Years ago, my father had a liver issue. One morning, he went to visit the liver doctor and was sent home with a clean bill of health. Two hours later, he had a heart attack. We wondered, how could he suffer a heart attack when a doctor had only just seen him? The answer was simple. Because that doctor specialized in the liver, not the heart.
The lesson I learned that day was that you can’t just look at one aspect of something to understand the bigger picture.
You can have all the money in the world, but that doesn’t mean you will feel secure.
You can be in love, but that doesn’t mean you will feel emotionally fulfilled.
You can land your dream job, but that doesn’t mean you will feel accomplished.
Life is a multifaceted matrix of experiences and challenges. We have to tend to every facet of our lives in order to ultimately live our best lives.
That’s why we’re always looking for ways to better help our network tackle those big questions. Enter my newsletter, Striking the Balance.
I am excited to present you with this first edition of a newsletter that will become my place to catch up with you directly, right in your inbox.
Every few weeks, I will be sharing my insights on life’s pressing issues, whether they be in the workplace, in the household or in the world at large. And I’ll be doing so with a healthy dose of my favorite medicine—tough love.
If you’re here, it’s because you’ve been committed to this work. I’m here to help you recommit with the fervor of some of our most dedicated clients, partners and trainers, like those featured in Balancing Life’s Issues’ recent testimonial video.
My promise is to fill this newsletter with things you can’t get anywhere else – with the ultimate goal of helping you strike balance in your own life.
Because I believe every problem has a solution.
Sincerely,
Wendy Wollner, CEO of Balancing Life’s Issues
